More than 100 girls play soccer at Dunbar Elementary during Soccer in the Streets' final girls game day for the Spring Season, .
We recently enjoyed a great day with our APS Positive Choice girls' teams for a fun round robin at Dunbar Elementary. On a beautiful soccer day, we had over 100 girls playing soccer from MA Jones Elementary, Towns Elementary, Scott Elementary, Westside Atlanta Charter School and of course, Dunbar Elementary. This day brought together, in the name of soccer, schools from different neighborhoods, such as: the West End, Mozely Park, and Northwest neighborhoods.
As the season came to a close, there was a special energy in the air. All of the girls were excited to play, and were elated with the opportunity to measure up against teams they had not faced in the regular season.
