At Soccer in the Streets, we believe that when you give kids a ball and a place to belong, there's no limit to what they can achieve.
Through free in-school and after-school programs across metro Atlanta, we create safe spaces where youth can connect with friends, find their confidence, and build the skills needed to succeed far beyond the field. Since 1989, we’ve been walking alongside young people as they grow into confident, capable adults who are ready to lead. When our youth thrive, all of Atlanta rises with them.
Soccer in the Streets has been breaking down barriers and creating opportunities for Atlanta’s youth through the beautiful game of soccer. By transforming unused spaces into vibrant soccer fields and offering free programming across metro Atlanta, we ensure that every child, regardless of their economic background, has access to the sport and the vital life skills it teaches. Our innovative approach includes building soccer fields at MARTA transit stations through our StationSoccer initiative, making the sport accessible to communities that need it most while fostering a more connected Atlanta through the power of play.

At our core, we know that soccer is so much more than just a sport.
Across Atlanta—and across the world—soccer brings people together. It requires teamwork, dexterity, patience, and confidence. It not only instills a healthy lifestyle, but it also brings us joy, no matter our age, background, or circumstance. Soccer empowers us to see what we’re capable of, and pass that confidence on to others. At Soccer in the Streets, we go beyond providing excellent youth programming; we also give adults a way to Play It Forward through Allside adult soccer leagues.
Providing easy access to soccer is one of our core tenets.
In partnership with MARTA, we developed StationSoccer, a network of soccer fields located at transit stations across metro Atlanta. At these fields, we provide free after-school soccer programs led by experienced coaches and mentors, as well as daily adult league games. People of all ages and abilities are welcome to join a team, grab a pinnie, and learn the beautiful game.
Soccer in Schools is how we meet kids where they are. By partnering with schools across Atlanta, we bring intentional, high-quality soccer programming directly to students who might otherwise never get introduced to the game. Every session is designed with purpose: to spark a lifelong love of the game, build Social and Emotional skills, and create the kind of trust and community that kids carry with them long after they leave the field.
