Our youth programming is designed to be accessible, 100% free, and 1,000% impactful.
From recreational leagues and school partnerships to our signature Garden FC program, we continue to build breakthrough initiatives that leverage Atlanta’s infrastructure and institutions to make soccer an essential part of life. Through play, kids are engaged with positive activities. They make friends. They do better in school. They see a brighter future for themselves. And they pass this confidence on to others. Kids aren’t just showing up to play—they’re using the power of soccer to create positive change.

Soccer fields at train stations! The idea for StationSoccer has created connection hubs, what was once acres of unused land, has become safe places to play and access to soccer —bringing the game to Atlanta’s diverse neighborhoods. The ultimate goal? A League of Stations — where kids and adults rep their home station, ride the train, and compete against other communities. It’s more than just a smart move. It’s a first of a kind movement connecting Atlanta through sport, transit, and the power of play.
Our school partnerships allow us to reach kids where they are. We bring intentional, high-quality soccer programming directly to students who might never get the chance to play after the final bell. Every session is designed with purpose: to spark a lifelong love of the game, build
Social-Emotional Learning skills, and create the kind of trust and community that kids carry forward. Because every child deserves to play—not just the ones who can afford to
We’re not just developing players—we’re developing professionals. Our Youth Referee Program gives teens and young adults their first real taste of the working world, right on the pitch. They get to earn money while building résumés and gaining hands-on experience in a structured environment. Add in financial literacy training, banking, and money management skills, and participants start to see a clear pathway for advancement. More than a referee program, we’re giving young people a launchpad. For more information email, Anthony Gourdine at anthony@soccerstreets.org
We’re not just here for the little ones. When kids age out of our U14 StationSoccer program, we offer a Junior Coach Program that provides a pathway for former players to stay connected to the game. Participants receive hands-on coaching education and mentorship, and gain access to continued development opportunities through the U.S. Soccer Grassroots Licenses and the D License pathway. In addition, they get to participate in coach education experiences offered through partners like Manchester City and the Premier League. This exciting program is designed to develop the next generation of coaches and community leaders through the beautiful game. Contact Dawit@soccerstreets.org to learn more.
Beyond the Pitch is built on a simple belief: soccer is just the beginning. From professional development and workforce readiness to travel, community leadership, and cross-cultural learning, the various programs offered are designed to help young people translate the lessons of sport into confidence, curiosity, and capability—preparing them to navigate the world with purpose and possibility.
Give her a goal in life and watch her run with it. Part of our broader mission to remove barriers to play for underserved youth, Girls With Goals is intentionally focused on empowering girls to thrive in spaces where they’ve often been underrepresented. By pairing access to sport with confidence-building and community connection, the program helps young girls see themselves as athletes, leaders, and changemakers.
